Spring Valley has some of the oldest pools in the west valley, and some of the best kept. Spanish Trail, Spanish Hills and the streets along Durango and Rainbow were built around the water, and the trees that have grown up around those pools since then drop leaves, seeds and pollen into them all year.
That is why our visits here are weekly. We skim, brush the walls and steps, vacuum the floor, empty the skimmer and pump baskets, test the water and balance it, with the chemicals included. When we are done, you get a text with photos of your pool and what we did.
Local Factors
Why Spring Valley pools need weekly care
Trees are the first thing in Spring Valley. Mature olives, palms and pines line the older streets, and every one of them drops something into the pool. Leaves on the floor and seeds in the baskets are what turn a clear pool cloudy when nobody is skimming. A weekly visit keeps the debris moving out before it breaks down in the water.
Older pools are the second thing. Many Spring Valley pools have been through a few resurfacings and a few generations of equipment. Plaster that has aged holds scale more readily, and Las Vegas water is hard enough to leave it on everything. Balanced water every week slows that down, and we tell you when something needs more than a brush.
The heat is the third. Evaporation in July and August pulls water out of the pool every day, concentrates what is left, and throws the chemistry off within days. The weekly test is how we catch it before it shows.

What We See
Common pool issues in Spring Valley
Mature trees
Leaves and seeds are the number one reason Spring Valley pools cloud up. We skim and empty the baskets every visit so the debris never sits long enough to feed algae.
Older plaster and tile
Aged surfaces hold scale. Balanced water every week keeps the hard-water crust from building on the tile line and the steps.
Mixed equipment
Spring Valley pools run everything from original single-speed pumps to new variable-speed setups. We check the equipment every visit and tell you before anything needs work.
